At KR Dental, we strive to make care affordable and readily available for all. Below, you’ll find a list of payment plan solutions as well as accepted health funds that we participate in.

SmileFund

The cost of dental care shouldn’t be a barrier to getting the treatment you need. With our exclusive payment plan, SmileFund, you can spread the cost of your care over time, interest-free.

A great option allowing you to prioritise your dental health, resulting in great peace of mind.

Afterpay

Afterpay is a very easy to use app on your phone or tablet, that splits your dental account into 4 easy and manageable instalments. Your reward for paying your Afterpay account on time is no fees! It is instant approval.

Usage is subject to approval and transaction limits. Late fees may apply if you fail to make a payment on time.

Insurance and coverage

At KR Dental, we accept private health insurance as well as:

• The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)
• Department of Veterans’ Affairs dental benefits
• Hospital Program

Private health insurance rebates

The percentage your health fund pays depends on your specific coverage. We have a HICAPS machine on-site to facilitate on-the-spot rebates.

Just bring your health fund card to your appointment. Please note that although we are open six days a week, some health funds don’t allow the processing of claims on weekends.

What percentage will your health fund pay?

This will vary depending on the following factors:

• The level of extras cover that you have
• The specific treatment(s) that you’re undertaking
• Whether or not we participate in your fund’s member’s network
• Applicable yearly limits for “major” dental work (such as crowns and bridges)

We recommend a simple solution to this complexity - visit us for a checkup and obtain a treatment plan and quote. This document will include all relevant item numbers and costs, which your health fund can use to calculate your refund in advance.
