What to expect at your appointment
Our family of dentists and support professionals are a tight-knit crew who get a buzz out of making you smile. At your first appointment, you’ll be:
- Greeted by our friendly staff in a warm and welcoming environment.
- Complete a medical history form; we need to collect this information not only for your health but also to gain an understanding of your previous dental experiences and treatment to ensure we can plan your treatment.
- Meet with your dentist and discuss your individual needs, requirements and next steps. During your check-up and clean, the dentist will discuss any relevant treatment recommendations with you.
If additional treatment is necessary, they can present you with a treatment plan and discuss the available options.
If you have any concerns about going to the dentist, please discuss this with your dentist, therapist or hygienist.

Terms and conditions
This offer is available for $199 (incl GST) and is only available to new patients of KR Dental and they cannot be redeemed for cash; is only redeemable once per patient.
The check-up & clean offer includes a dental examination, scale, clean and polish, a fluoride treatment, and 2x bitewing x-rays (if needed).
To ensure you receive the most appropriate treatment, your dentist will evaluate your teeth condition at your appointment to consider whether the treatment included in this offer is suitable for you. If we consider it is not, i.e. you may need alternative/additional treatments, we will offer details of those treatments to you, including details of our standard rates. We will otherwise provide the treatment included in this offer to you at a later agreed date, having regard to your teeth condition. Please note you will need to check your health fund policy to determine which portion of your fee is covered.
While we accept all major health funds, not all health funds offer the same level of benefits and your level of cover will affect your “out-of-pocket” costs. In addition, we are classified as preferred providers for selected health funds. This allows our patients to gain access to additional exclusive benefits, depending on their health fund and level of health cover. KR Dental are preferred providers for CBHS, Defence Health, HCF, HIF, NIB, RT Health, Smile.com.au, TUH and Union Health. Check your health fund policy to determine which portion of your New Patient fee is covered.
